The Nebraska National Guard’s (NENG) Office of Equal Opportunity (EO) works with Commanders and supervisors to ensure service members and civilian employees are provided equal access to all the resources and opportunities our organization has to offer regardless of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

The EO Office reinforces the Nebraska National Guard’s commitment to the principles of Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) where service members are promoted through merit and readiness.  The EO Office assists and advises leaders with human issues surrounding equal opportunity through training, education, and advisement.  The EO Office advises Commanders and Supervisors in creating a healthy unit climate where our service members and civilian employees feel valued and able to take part in all the opportunities the Nebraska National Guard has to offer.  A climate of dignity and respect will assist our military and civilian personnel in reaching their full human potential.
Our Goals

  • Create emotionally competent leaders and service members respectful of the unique individuals that make up our force.
