Behavioral Health
Mission: The Behavioral Health Officer serves as the link between unit commanders and the assessed behavioral health of an organization. The BHO advocates, promotes, and guides service members and their families by supporting psychological fitness and ultimately operational readiness.

Behavior Health Services provided include:
  • short-term solution focused problem solving
  • assessments and referrals to affiliate counselors
  • critical incident stress debriefing
  • case management
  • psycho-educational classes
  • stress awareness and management
  • anger management
  • effective communication
  • suicide awareness and prevention
  • consultations
The BHO has the unique ability to assist service members needing medical profiles for behavioral health issues and the expertise to assist them through the often complicated process.
