First Native American Medal of Honor recipient served in the Nebraska National Guard

In 1911, this photo was taken of some of the still-living Pawnee Scouts of the time. Although Co-rux-te-chod-ish (Mad Bear) would still have been living at the time, he is not one of those pictured.
